Year 1/2

Welcome!

A very warm welcome to our Year 1 and 2 class! We have a classroom filled with fun, creative learning and kindness. Our two class teachers are Mr Jones and Mrs Voce, while we also have Miss Pyne as our wonderful learning assistant. We will also be regularly joined by many other members of our fantastic team of learning assistants.

Spring 2

Welcome to Spring 2!

In Maths, Year 1s will use this half term to develop their knowledge of length, height, full and empty, before taking a first look at multiplication and division. Year 2s will grow their understanding of multiplication and division, before boosting their knowledge of length, height, mass, capacity and temperature.

In English, we will have a group focus on The Lion Inside and Alba the Hundred Year Old Fish, while using these stories as inspiration for pieces of writing.
